I visited Stratford-Upon-Avon today, the town where Shakespeare was born and married. I have been here before, so I skipped the Shakespeare Birthplace House and went instead to the cottage of Anne Hathaway, his wife. It is a thatched cottage with the prettiest English garden. We had a blast taking photos of all the beautiful flowers and running from the huge bees. We also enjoyed some pasties and ice cream before catching the train back home in the rain. Tomorrow we are headed back to London.
